duties

Customer Service:

  • Greet clients warmly, providing them with a high level of service and professionalism.
  • Assist clients in performing various banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payments.

Transaction Handling:

  • Process transactions accurately, ensuring all are Shariah-compliant and free from interest.
  • Manage cash drawers, ensuring they are balanced at the start and end of each day.
  • Verify client identities and transaction details to prevent fraud and maintain security.

Compliance and Security:

  • Adhere to SKM’s operational guidelines and Shariah compliance standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client information and comply with all regulatory requirements.

Account Management:

  • Open new accounts, explaining the benefits and features of Shariah-compliant financial services.
  • Update client records, ensuring all information is accurate and current.

Customer Education:

  • Educate clients about Islamic finance principles and products to enhance their understanding and trust in SKM's services.

Problem Resolution:

  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, or issues with patience and professionalism, escalating when necessary.

Operational Support:

  • Prepare daily transaction reports and handle end-of-day procedures.
  • Participate in team efforts to enhance branch efficiency and customer satisfaction.

qualification

 Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in finance or business administration is a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year in a customer service role, preferably in banking or a financial institution.
  • Experience in handling cash and direct customer interactions.

Skills:

  • Strong numerical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Basic understanding of Shariah-compliant financial principles.
  • Proficiency in local languages; English is advantageous.
