duties

Planning and Market Development

  • Create and implement sales and marketing strategies suited to Afghanistan’s market for our beverages.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Develop annual business plans and budgets for the beverage category.
  • Lead product positioning and pricing strategies.

Team Leadership

  • Recruit and train sales and marketing teams across Afghanistan.
  • Set clear performance goals and motivate the team.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork and continuous learning.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews to support team development.

Sales Strategy and Execution

  • Oversee the execution of sales plans across various channels, with a strong focus on direct sales and the HORECA segment.
  • Manage key accounts and distributors to ensure good service and coverage.
  • Monitor sales performance and implement improvements as needed.
  • Drive revenue growth through expanding territories and promotional campaigns.

Marketing and Brand Building

  • Lead brand development efforts, including advertising and digital marketing.
  • Plan and execute activities to boost brand visibility.
  • Collaborate with agencies and partners to enhance brand messaging.
  • Ensure consistent branding across all platforms.

Distribution and Supply Chain Coordination

  • Work with logistics teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
  • Optimize distribution networks to improve service and reduce costs.
  • Monitor stock levels and demand forecasts.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Coordinate with internal departments to align objectives.
  • Build relationships with government and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.

qualification

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 7–10 years of experience in FMCG/beverage industry, with at least 3 years in a strategic leadership role.
  • Proven success in managing nationwide teams and delivering commercial results.
  • Strong understanding of Afghan consumer behavior, retail landscape, and cultural nuances.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English and local languages (Dari/Pashto) preferred.
