duties

  • Conduct continuous audits of various departments to ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulations and assess the adequacy of controls, processes, and risk management frameworks.
  • Identify risks, inefficiencies, and non-compliance with the applicable rules and regulations, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Develop and apply audit programs, techniques, and internal control assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and overall governance within ACB operations.
  • Focus the audit and compliance efforts on high-risk areas within ACB, prioritizing operational, financial, and compliance risks to ensure the most critical issues are addressed efficiently.
  • Prepare and submit detailed quarterly/need based internal audit reports to the Compliance Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements across all activities.
  • Assist in developing of a compliance monitoring framework and an internal control policy.
  • Develop and implement an audit plan to ensure comprehensive compliance reviews and internal control throughout the year.
  • Prepare clear and accurate audit and compliance working papers documenting findings and providing substantiated recommendations, ensuring that conclusions align with ACB’s audit and internal control objectives and strategic goals.
  • Review and update internal policies and procedures to adjust them as per the grand norms and regulations and to address the concerns raised in the external audit reports.
  • Ensure timely implementation of corrective actions and measures following recommendations of the audit.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance compliance and efficiency in the operations.
  • Provide trainings and guidance to staff to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures and raise awareness of compliance responsibilities across the organization.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accurate records of audits, investigations, and follow-up actions.

qualification

Education:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law or other relevant field is required.
  • Additional certifications in audit, compliance, or risk management (e.g., Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP)) are preferred.


Experience:

  • Minimum of 8-9 years of work-related experience with a bachelor’s degree and 4-5 years with master’s degree (or global certificate) in Compliance or Audit and Control roles, with exposure to both operational and project audits and control.
  • Experience in auditing and controlling operations of the organization and expertise in ensuring compliance of the various policies.
  • Familiarity with Compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements.

  • Strong analytical skills to assess operation and project compliance.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to conduct audits and manage compliance across various departments throughout the year.
