Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute and capture insights from the field
- Use data and other information for analysis and decision making purposes
- Plan and develop strategies
- Design and implement new systems, and improve existing ones to improve project outcomes
- Identify and understand issues; break down problems and identify root causes
- Give recommendations constructing multiple scenarios and advise where necessary
- Develop excellent relationships and work with senior government officials and international partners
- Assess international evidence and learn lessons about pragmatic solutions
We're looking for:
- 1-3 years of experience in management or strategy consulting
- Previous experience in the public sector is an advantage
- Proven track record of working in Afghanistan
- Excellent English, Dari, and Pashto
- Strong analytical skills
- Good communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
- Strong drive and motivation
- Interest in social issues and public sector development
- Openness to travel (the team is Based in Kabul, with travelling to various provinces 50% of the time)
