duties

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the Finance & Administration Department.
  • Assist with office management tasks, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Develop strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of administrative operations within Barhee Bahar Trading Company.
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support, including photocopying, scanning, and faxing.
  • Assist with data entry and record keeping.
  • Maintain and organize files and documents (both physical and electronic).
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations.
  • Manage and order office supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Maintain office equipment and coordinate repairs as needed.
  • Assist with maintaining a clean and organized office environment.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and greet visitors.
  • Assist with preparing and distributing internal communications.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  • Assist with scheduling meetings and appointments.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and prepare expense reports.
  • Assist with event planning and coordination.
  • Provide support to other departments as needed.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Accurate and timely completion of assigned tasks.
  • Maintenance of organized and efficient office systems.
  • Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive identification of areas for improvement in administrative processes.

qualification

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or any other relevant field.


Experience:

  • Fresh Graduate with no experience


Language Skills:

  • Proficiency in Dari, Pashto, and English


Computer Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office is required


The duty station of the intern will be the host entity (Baheera Bahar Trading Company) and the salary will be paid by Islamic Relief Worldwide- Afghanistan (IRW- A) based on agreement.
