duties

  • Prepare and monitor budgets, ensuring expenditures are within approved limits.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and receipts.
  • Oversee procurement of goods and services, ensuring compliance with policies.
  • Manage payroll, staff records, leave tracking, and statutory deductions.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and handle petty cash transactions.
  • Prepare and submit financial reports to management and donors.
  • Support external and internal audits with required documentation.
  • Manage office operations, supplies, utilities, and equipment maintenance.
  • Organize travel, workshops, and meetings, including logistics and payments.
  • Liaise with vendors, service providers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Safeguard confidentiality of organizational and staff information.
  • Provide support in recruitment, onboarding, and staff performance records.
  • Ensure timely filing of taxes, pensions, and other statutory obligations.
  • Assist management in decision-making with financial and administrative data.

qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in administration and/or finance.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word (data analysis, formulas, reporting, document formatting).
  • Basic knowledge of accounting software and financial systems is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and administrative procedures is preferred.
