duties

1.      Authorize/Submit all local transfers in Oracle & ACSS/ICPSS System for both Islamic and Conventional Banking, in line with Delegation of Power.

2.      Lead investigations of local transaction queries with branches and local banks.

3.      Supervise printing of all local inward & outward transactions.

4.      Oversee printing and verification of Free Format transactions from ACSS System and ensure timely follow‑up with branches.

5.      Negotiate and resolve issues with local banks, maintaining strong professional relationships.

6.      Provide leadership in resolving branch transaction problems via phone or other communication channels.

7.      Prepare and present comprehensive reports to senior management.

8.      Ensure reconciliation of all local transactions is completed accurately and on time.

9.      Monitor availability of sufficient funds in DAB Nostro accounts and take proactive measures to avoid shortfalls.

10.  Track and verify sources of funds for each local transaction with branches.

Undertake any additional responsibilities assigned by the Head of Department.

qualification

Educational Qualifications

·Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Certifications in banking operations or payment systems are a plus

Experience Required

·3-5 years of experience in banking operations, payments, or reconciliation, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.

Proven expertise in clearing and settlement platforms (e.g., ACSS, ICPS)

Competencies Required

•Understanding of payment processing workflows and settlement procedures.

•Advanced knowledge of reconciliation processes, core banking systems, and Oracle/ACSS platforms.

•Strong attention to detail for transaction accuracy.

•Ability to prioritize and manage high volume, complex transactions under tight deadlines.

•Understanding of regulatory requirements for payment and settlement processes.

•Strong risk management and compliance oversight in transaction processing.

•Ability to lead investigations of discrepancies and provide strategic solutions.

•Effective negotiation and relationship management with local banks.
