- Coordinating stock control operations with the sales and finance departments.
- Analyzing supply chain data to ensure the uninterrupted availability of stock.
- Developing and implementing inventory control systems and practices.
- Updating inventory count and maintaining inventory records to share with management.
- Coordinating the logistics of purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries, tagging, and processing.
- Performing regular stock checks and reporting any issues to the management
- Forecasting supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock.
- Placing and receiving orders to replenish stocks as needed.
- Tracking shipments and coordinating internal stock transfers, as well as resolving delays.
- Overseeing stock storage processes, including tagging and labeling.
- Performing regular inventory audits.
- Maintaining and updating daily shipment records, records of purchase orders and inventory records.
- Responsible for actual inventory counts; must be knowledgeable about inventory items to be counted, the counting procedures used, and the location of all inventories.
- Bachelor's degree in Management, business administration, or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in inventory management software.
- minimum of two years' experience as a stock controller in a similar industry.
- In-depth knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
- Great analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Need strong communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and do business with suppliers and customers. Critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills are a must.
