duties

1.     Capacity Building and Training

  • Conduct training and awareness sessions for staff, partners, contractors, and
  • beneficiaries on PSEA policies, reporting mechanisms, and survivor-centered approaches.
  • Build the capacity of focal points, community leaders, and partner organizations on SEA prevention and response.

2. Prevention and Risk Mitigation

  • Support program and operational teams to integrate SEA risk analysis and mitigation measures into project design and implementation.
  • Ensure PSEA messaging is included in community outreach and communication strategies.

3. Reporting and Case Management

  • Establish and maintain safe, confidential, and accessible SEA reporting mechanisms for P
  • PTCRO staff and community members.
  • Support or coordinate the management of SEA allegations in line with international standards and organizational procedures, ensuring confidentiality and survivor safety.

4. Coordination and Representation

  • Represent PTCRO in PSEA networks, task forces, and inter-agency coordination groups.
  • Collaborate with child protection, GBV, safeguarding, and accountability colleagues to ensure a holistic approach to protection.

5. Monitoring and Compliance

  • Conduct PSEA compliance assessments across field sites and partner organizations.
  • Prepare regular reports on PSEA activities, risks, and case updates, ensuring management is informed of key issues.


qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Science, Management Science, Sharia Law, Law, Political Science, Economics, Psychology, Gender Studies, International Development, or related field. Master's preferred.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in protection, safeguarding, gender-based violence, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated understanding of international standards on PSEA, survivor-centered approaches, and humanitarian principles.
  • Experience working in humanitarian or development contexts, preferably with international NGOs or UN agencies.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and integrity.
  • Fluency in English is required, while knowledge of Pashtu/Dari will be an asset

Desirable:

  • Prior experience managing sensitive complaints.
  • Knowledge of the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC) PSEA principles.
  • Familiarity with complaint and feedback mechanisms (CFMs) and accountability to affected populations (AAP).

Parniyan Training Centre and Rehabilitation Organization (PTCRO) is a non-governmental, non-political, and non-profit public welfare organization dedicated for the provision of relief humanitarian emergency assistance, development and reconstruction of Afghanistan.

PTCRO was founded in 2003 and formally registered with Afghanistan's Ministry of Economy on May 11, 2006. PTCRO has nearly two decades of experience in addressing both developmental and humanitarian needs across the country.

These initiatives have been executed across 24 provinces, demonstrating PTCRO’s extensive reach and impact.

 

PTCRO has collaborated with and received funding from esteemed partners, including USAID, UNICEF, UNDP, UN Women, UNOPS, UNFPA, IOM, Good Weave USA, and AWRC. Its track record of successfully delivering development and humanitarian projects, highlights its commitment to the people and the reconstruction of Afghanistan and its capacity to address the country’s urgent humanitarian needs effectively.
