Procurement Planning & Strategy

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals and project requirements.
  • Forecast procurement needs and create annual procurement plans.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement processes.

Vendor Management

  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers/vendors based on quality, cost, and reliability.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to ensure favorable conditions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and resolve any disputes or issues.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, local laws, and international procurement standards.
  • Prepare and maintain procurement documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and invoices.
  • Conduct regular audits of procurement activities to ensure transparency and accountability.

Project Support

  • Collaborate with project managers and departments to understand procurement needs.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to meet project deadlines.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics teams for efficient distribution.

Risk Management

  • Identify and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, price fluctuations, or vendor non-performance.
  • Develop contingency plans to address procurement challenges.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise and mentor the procurement team, ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide training to enhance team capabilities.

  • Oversee the procurement team, ensuring efficient and compliant procurement processes.
  • Delegate tasks, monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.


EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a full-time position. Regular working hours are Saturday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. However, the role may require extended hours and occasional weekend work to meet project demands.



TRAVEL

Travel is primarily local during business days, but occasional travel to project sites in provinces or outside countries may be required.



REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and supply chain management, or a related field. Master’s degree or professional certification (CIPS, CPSM) is a plus and preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the construction or energy sector.
  • Proven track record of managing procurement for large-scale projects.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in procurement software (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of procurement regulations, contract management, and logistics.

Other Skills:

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • High integrity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
