- Contribute to project planning, monitoring, and evaluation in line with donor requirements.
- Ensure regular and accurate data collection and verification through field supervision.
- Develop, adapt, and implement M&E tools and reporting formats for project activities.
- Manage and supervise data collectors and field teams, providing capacity building and technical support.
- Create and maintain a project database, dashboards, and trackers.
- Conduct field monitoring visits and report findings with actionable recommendations to the Director and project managers.
- Use digital platforms (e.g., KoboToolbox, ODK, ) for mobile data collection and real-time reporting.
- Analyze and report on outputs and outcomes using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Ensure safeguarding and accountability mechanisms are integrated and functional throughout all project levels.
- Document lessons learned, best practices, success stories, and challenges with a special focus on vulnerable groups.
- Facilitate and support external monitoring visits from donors and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with program teams to ensure that M&E feedback leads to improvements in implementation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Monitoring & Evaluation, Statistics, Computer Science, Public Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3–5 years of proven experience in M&E roles with national or international NGOs.
- Strong command of M&E concepts, data quality assurance, and results-based management.
- Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., Excel, SPSS, Power BI) and digital data collection tools.
- Demonstrated skills in gender-sensitive and disaggregated data collection and analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Fluent in Dari and Pashto; good command of English is essential.
- Strong report-writing, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to remote project sites including Daikundi province.
