- Design and implement livelihood programs: Develop and execute community-based livelihood projects that promote sustainable income-generating activities tailored to local needs and resources.
- Conduct assessments: Carry out surveys, social, and environmental assessments to identify community needs, available resources, and potential risks related to livelihood initiatives.
- Community engagement and mobilization: Facilitate community participation by organizing meetings, workshops, and awareness campaigns to encourage local ownership and involvement in livelihood activities.
- Capacity building: Provide training and technical support to community members, especially vulnerable groups, to enhance their skills and knowledge for sustainable livelihood practices.
- Monitoring and evaluation: Track the progress of livelihood projects, assess their impact, and recommend adjustments to improve effectiveness and sustainability.
- Coordination with stakeholders: Collaborate with local authorities, NGOs, and other partners to ensure alignment of activities and maximize resources for livelihood development.
- Promote environmentally sustainable practices: Ensure that livelihood activities incorporate social and environmental safeguards and promote climate-resilient practices.
- Report and document activities: Maintain detailed records of project activities, prepare progress reports, and share best practices and lessons learned with relevant stakeholders.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Community development, International Development, Sociology.
Work Experience
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in surveys, community mobilizations, and social and environmental assessments.
Language Skills
- Fluency in Pashto and Dari is required.
- Proficiency in oral and written English is required.

Environmental Protection, Trainings and Development Organization (EPTDO) is a national non-governmental, non-political, and non-profit organization established in 2020.
