1. Evaluate the security and capability of IT systems to support business operations.
2. Ensure data security, backup procedures, and software compliance.
3. Assess the effectiveness of IT controls and recommend improvements.
4. Review IT policies and procedures to ensure they align with industry standards and best practices.
Application Audits:
5. Conduct systematic examinations of software applications to assess performance, security, usability, and adherence to standards and practices.
6. Check the design elements, user interactions, and overall user experience to identify areas for improvement.
7. Ensure applications comply with industry standards and regulations.
8. Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks.
9. Check the UAT (user acceptance testing) and SAT ( System acceptance testing)
10. Evaluate application architecture, including major components and their interactions.
Additionally, the auditor will be involved in compliance, internal controls, risk management, operational processes, human resources, and other audits.
11. Verify compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including tax laws, employment laws, and industry-specific regulations.
12. Prepare and submit compliance reports to regulatory bodies as required.
13. Assess the effectiveness of internal controls to prevent fraud and ensure accurate financial reporting.
14. Recommend improvements to internal control systems.
15. Review the efficiency and effectiveness of operational processes.
16. Identify areas for improvement and recommend process enhancements.
17. Ensure policies and procedures are in place and compliant with relevant laws.
Or any other tasks assigned by The Chief internal Auditor.
· Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Minimum of [2-3] years of experience in IT auditing, preferably in Banks or financial institutions.
· Strong knowledge of IT systems, data security, software compliance, and internal controls.
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
· Proficiency in auditing software, IT security tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
· High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
