- Plan, develop, and oversee infrastructure projects that promote sustainable development and community resilience.
- Apply engineering principles and natural resource management practices to design environmentally sustainable infrastructure solutions.
- Conduct assessments of existing infrastructure systems to identify areas for improvement and ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies and community groups, to support project planning and implementation.
- Ensure all infrastructure projects comply with environmental, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement strategies for climate resilience and watershed management within infrastructure development plans.
- Monitor project progress, manage budgets, and ensure timely completion of infrastructure initiatives.
- Identify potential risks related to climate change and natural resource management, and integrate risk mitigation strategies into project designs.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on infrastructure development, ensuring solutions are innovative, sustainable, and aligned with community needs.
Education
- Minimum bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Agriculture, Environmental Science, Water Resource Management, or other relevant fields.
- Master degree is an advantage.
Work Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in engineering, natural resource management, climate resilience, watershed management, or other relevant fields.
Language Skills
- Fluency in Pashto and Dari is required.
- Proficiency in oral and written English is required.

Environmental Protection, Trainings and Development Organization (EPTDO) is a national non-governmental, non-political, and non-profit organization established in 2020. It is officially registered with the Ministry of Economy of Afghanistan under the Afghanistan NGOs Law as a tax-exempt organization. EPTDO maintains a professional network of over 95 experts, including environmental and climate change specialists, policy makers, lawyers, agricultural development specialists, community organizers, public health experts, and media professionals.
