- Recruitment and Staffing:
- Coordinate the recruitment process, including job postings, shortlisting, interviews, and reference checks.
- Prepare employment contracts and ensure proper onboarding of new staff.
- Employee Records and HR Administration:
- Maintain up-to-date employee files, records, and HR databases.
- Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of employee information.
- Policy Implementation and Compliance:
- Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures in line with labor laws and organizational standards.
- Ensure compliance with national labor regulations and organizational code of conduct.
- Performance Management:
- Assist in the performance appraisal process and support supervisors in setting performance objectives.
- Monitor probationary periods and performance improvement plans where necessary.
- Employee Relations and Support:
- Provide guidance to staff on HR-related matters, including conflict resolution and grievance procedures.
- Promote a positive work environment and uphold ethical workplace behavior.
- Training and Development:
- Support the coordination of staff training and capacity-building activities.
- Maintain records of employee development plans and training outcomes.
- Payroll and Benefits Support:
- Coordinate with finance on accurate payroll processing and benefits administration.
- Monitor leave balances, attendance, and timesheets.
- HR Reporting:
- Prepare regular HR reports (e.g., recruitment status, turnover, and training) for management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Law, economics, Social Sciences or a related field.
- HR-related certifications (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) are an asset.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a similar role or in the nonprofit/NGO sector.
- Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration.
- Solid understanding of national labor laws and HR best practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with HRIS is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Dari/Pashto.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility to travel if require
