1. Banking & Financial Operations:
- Oversee all corporate banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and reconciliations.
- Maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions to optimize banking services.
- Handled bank guarantees, letters of credit, and loan agreements to ensure financial stability.
2. Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and expense control to align with company goals.
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and profitability improvements and cash liquidity analysis and reporting.
- Provided insights on liquidity management, cash flow optimization, and investment opportunities.
3. Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations (AML, CFT, IFRS, etc.).
- Monitor financial transactions to identify risks, fraud, or irregularities.
- Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring transparency and compliance with financial policies.
4. Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for tax filings, banking, and regulatory purposes.
- Develop and maintain SOPs for financial processes and banking operations.
5. Process Improvement & Automation:
- Work with IT and finance teams to improve automated financial reporting and banking integrations.
- Suggest improvements in financial processes, payment systems, and banking negotiations to enhance efficiency.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, or a related field. A Master’s degree or ACCA qualification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in corporate finance, banking, or financial management.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis, banking operations, and risk management.
- Proficiency in financial software (SAP, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems).
- Gained familiarity with banking regulations, AML/CFT compliance, and corporate finance policies
- Liquidity management.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, leadership, and management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to deal with banks and stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
