- Ensure that proper financial procedures and systems are operated and maintained;
- Review of all support documents (receipts, invoices, and contracts) for payments;
- Prepare and enter all inflow and outflow vouchers in the system;
- Arrange approval of all inflow and outflow vouchers from line manager;
- Maintain a proper record of all vouchers;
- Prepare and submit financial reports, including cash flow and income statement, on a monthly basis using QuickBooks;
- Prepare cash in hand and bank reconciliation statements on a monthly basis;
- Assist line manager in preparation of different reports required by, departments and management of TSISP;
- Maintain a proper filing system both in soft and hard;
- Make sure that expenditures are according to the approved budget and the financial rules and regulations are adhered to.
- Reconcile and consolidate all monthly taxes of staff salary contractor rent, and payment to Government on time;
- Responsible for filling system of the TSISP finance unit;
- Prepare different kinds of worksheets in MS Excel;
- Receive the bank statements from the banks, keeping the record of bank transactions that is used for monthly bank reconciliations and do the bank statement reconciliation;
- Communicate all technical issues with his superior;
- Preparing monthly reports of taxes;
- Filing relevant documents of taxes withheld and deposited with Government;
- A monthly record of individual staff’s salaries and taxes, preparing and submitting to the Ministry of Finance any other statement as may be announced by income tax authorities from time to time;
- Dealing with any other tax issue that may arise;
- Undertaking duties and responsibilities as directed or requested by Manager;
- Calculating tax liability, ensuring compliance is completed speedily and efficiently, and submitting tax returns and associated documents by the appropriate deadlines.
- Bachelor Degree in accounting/Finance and business;
- 2 years’ experience in finance and accounting field;
- Computer skills at operator level, especially with QuickBooks and MS Office packages;
- Fluency in English and Dari and/or Pashto, both written and spoken;
- Interpersonal and communication skills;
- Supervisory, teamwork, analytical, and troubleshooting skills;
- Experience of planning, reporting and budgeting;
- Honest, proactive and well mannered;
- To be very good in arithmetic and calculation.
