Key Responsibilities:
- System Requirements Analysis:
- Identify and define functional and non-functional requirements for embedded systems.
- Analyze hardware and software constraints and establish system performance metrics.
- System Design:
- Develop modular and scalable architecture for embedded applications.
- Select appropriate microcontrollers, processors, and peripherals.
- Define interfaces for communication and hardware integration.
- Software Development:
- Implement core functionalities using C++, Java, C#, and Python.
- Develop and test drivers for hardware peripherals (e.g., sensors, actuators).
- Integrate communication protocols, including UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, and Ethernet.
- Hardware Integration:
- Interface microcontrollers with sensors, actuators, and other hardware components.
- Ensure real-time synchronization of hardware and software components.
- Diagnostics and Logging:
- Monitor system errors in real time and maintain performance logs.
- Testing and Validation:
- Conduct unit, integration, and system-level testing.
- Optimize system performance for real-time applications.
- Documentation:
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and source code.
- Create user manuals for setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
Technical Requirements:
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in C++ (primary), with experience in Java, C#, and Python.
- Hardware Platforms: Familiarity with ARM Cortex-M, AVR, ESP32, or equivalent microcontrollers.
- Development Tools:
- IDEs: STM32CubeIDE, Keil uVision, or Visual Studio Code.
- Debugging Tools: JTAG/SWD, Logic Analyzers.
- Operating Systems: Experience with Free RTOS or Zephyr is a plus.
- Communication Protocols: Strong knowledge of UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
- Peripheral Integration: Proven experience interfacing sensors, actuators, and control systems.
Additional Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Hands-on experience with real-time embedded systems.
- Familiarity with secure communication protocols and data encryption.
- Knowledge of power-efficient system design for battery-operated devices.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in embedded systems programming and real-time applications.
- Experience with development tools like STM32CubeIDE, Keil uVision, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with Free RTOS or Zephyr operating systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of secure data protocols.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum [3 years] of experience in embedded systems development.
