Consumer Financing Officer

duties

  1. Assist and support the Consumer Financing Manager in all affairs related to consumer financing applications.
  2. Follow the annual goals of the branches in according to the Consumer Banking credit plan and goals.
  3. Assisting in guidance and training to other officers of the bank engaged in lending activities at the branches to insure the smooth process and safety of the credit portfolio.
  4. Monitoring the overall credit/financing process of the branches including staff knowledge, process streamline, targets vs achievements.
  5. Review, analyze, appraise and process of loans/financial applications.
  6. Review and analyze new, renewal or extended cases of all loans in considerate for approval with the exception of consumer loans. 
  7. Review the monthly progress report and feedbacks from all branches.
  8. Review and monitor the branches daily and weekly reports and ensure that branches are sending their reports on-time and conduct review meeting with Consumer Financing Manager and Head of CB to discuss the gaps and challenges which branches facing and find the alternate solutions
  9. Communicate with all back office and middle office departments and ensure that challenges that branches are facing are solved in the basis of internal SLA.
  10. Ensure that all credit proposals are properly submitted to back office departments for further process
  11. Ensures that Credit Committee guidelines concerning administrative handling of specific transactions and credit facilities are implemented.
  12. Oversee the activities of Consumer Financing unit of Consumer Banking in absence of Consumer Financing Manager. 
  13. Responsible for credit products sales and marketing activities and customer visits on need basis.
  14. Assisting in credit collection and recovery follow up process
  15. Any other task assigned by the supervisor
  16. Being able to be rotated to any other assigned task and location

qualification

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS       

-      Bachelor degree in Economics/Business/Finance (Master degree holder is preferred)

-      Relevant field certification (Preferred)


RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

-      At least 2 years’ experience in the banking sector / minimum 1 year (relevant field experience)

-      Ability to read, understand and analyze financial statements

-      Communication skills, Analytical skills, Understanding of Financial/Banking products and services.

-      Proposal writing skills

-      Professional English writing skills

-      Advance Excel/Credit Scoring skills

-      Negotiations and management skills
