• Community mobilizers are required to work according to the plan and instructions of program /implementation lead.
• Mobilize the community and beneficiaries and provide them with awareness regarding the project activities.
• Support the team in planning and organizing community awareness, campaigns, and community mobilization sessions.
• Engage and mobilize community members in one to one and group sessions.
• Conduct awareness training and conduct information campaigns in the field according to the communities’ knowledge levels.
• Assist in Providing required training to the selected Afghan youths male/female in targeted areas.
• Assist in Monitoring and reporting on the participants of TVET classes progress, success stories, and challenges.
• Support the project team in recruitment of TVET trainers and on preparing final reports, including lessons learned and recommendations for future interventions.
• Assist established SHGs, enterprises groups, females and other project beneficiaries in marketing of their products and improving linkages between them and sellers.
• Assist in the recruitment and selection of TVET participants for training programs, including freelancing, Internship and established SHGs in project targeted areas of Kabul province include of districts.
• Organize and facilitate community workshops and training sessions on relevant skills, such business development and other capacity building for SHGs members.
• Monitor the progress of community members participating in programs and provide regular feedback to the project team and follow up the TVET training classes.
• Community mobilizers take part in the selection process of orphans and most vulnerable families in selected villages.
• Assist in Conducting pre- and post-program assessments to measure skill development and knowledge acquisition.
• Develop a contact list of existing or identified orphans/Afghan youth and most vulnerable families’ business skills, local products and new non agriculture businesses or agricultural businesses related agribusinesses.
• Coordinate with relevant government departments at the local level to facilitate the administrative processes and Facilitate meetings of project staff with local government authorities and community people.
• Organize meetings with local leaders, beneficiaries and collect their feedback and share the report with team leader.
• Mobilize the local communities, community elders and beneficiaries and provide them with awarenesses regarding the project activities.
• Make regular field visits to project focused villages to prospect for community engagement and/or associations who will become clients of the program.
• Assure that the activity implemented in livelihood and local economic component is in line with project concept note and findings are noted.
• Maintain a comprehensive, well-organized filing system of livelihood implemented activities and capacity building programs.
• Maintain strong communications with clients and disseminate outputs with senior program office and provincial manager and acts as liaison person with beneficiaries and project team.
• Make regular field visits to project focused villages to prospect for community engagement and/or associations who will become clients of the program.
• Assist the project technical team in the project needs assessment survey and beneficiaries screening and selection process in targeted district.
• Support the team in planning and organizing community awareness, campaigns, behavior change communication and community mobilization sessions.
• Engage and mobilize local community members, elders in one to one and group sessions.
• Work closely with the community elders and CDCs, COs in selecting the target communities/stakeholders.
• Conduct awareness raising training and conduct information campaigns on the field according to the communities’ knowledge levels.
• Prepare work plan, schedules, and report for all activities at the community level and share with officers in provincial office
• Community mobilizer Support M&E officer while visiting the field and provide the required information.
• Prepare weekly, monthly and other periodic reports and keep the field office up to date on any changes in the implementation of the projects.
• Coordination with local authorities, and community leaders as well as faith leaders in district level.
• Any other official related tasks may be assigned to him by the provincial management team.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, BBA, social sciences, agriculture and any other relevant field is required and preferable.
Experience:
- 2-3 years of relevant experience of working in the community (Community Mobilizing, Livelihood, Business Development, TVET, Social Organizer, Community Facilitator etc).
- Fluent in speaking and writing Pashto, Dari and Uzbeki languages, English is an advantage.
- Honest, Motivated, tolerant, active, and well mannered
- Strong Interpersonal & communication skills
- Relevant work experience in livelihood on socio-economic empowerment Programs would be a plus.

Community Organizations:
- Support the establishment and strengthening of community organizations, enterprises groups and self-help groups. This includes providing capacity-building training, facilitating linkages with government and non-government agencies, and ensuring their active participation in project activities.
