Administrative Duties
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, including facilities management, procurement, and maintenance.
- Manage administrative staff and coordinate support services.
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures.
- Handle correspondence, communication, and scheduling for senior management.
- Maintain accurate records of organizational documents and administrative files.
- Provide weekly and monthly report to executive director.
- Any other tasks assigned to him by senior management.
Finance Duties
- Prepare, monitor, and control budgets; oversee financial planning and forecasting.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and expense reporting.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct financial analysis and prepare reports for management review.
- Liaise with auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.
Education
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in economics or any other related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Any finance-related certificate from an accredited global institution is an asset.
Work Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the area of financial management and reporting in Afghanistan or similar settings.
- Having advanced-level knowledge of Excel is an asset.
Language Skills
- Fluency in Pashto and Dari is required.
- Working in oral and written English is required.
Team Leadership and Development
- Supervise and mentor administrative and finance staff.
- Facilitate training and professional development initiatives.
Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to legal, financial, and organizational policies.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and statutory reporting.
- Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Environmental Protection, Trainings and Development Organization (EPTDO) is a national non-governmental, non-political, and non-profit organization established in 2020. It is officially registered with the Ministry of Economy of Afghanistan under the Afghanistan NGOs Law as a tax-exempt organization. EPTDO maintains a professional network of over 95 experts, including environmental and climate change specialists, policy makers, lawyers, agricultural development specialists, community organizers, public health experts, and media professionals.
